Weather Claim False: CIAL Rebuts SpiceJet's Disruption Claims

Kochi: Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has strongly countered claims made by SpiceJet regarding recent flight disruptions, stating that the airline is spreading misinformation by attributing cancellations to bad weather at Kochi.

According to an official advisory issued by CIAL, Kochi airport did not experience any adverse weather conditions severe enough to disrupt flight operations. No other airline operating from Kochi reported weather-related cancellations during the same period.

CIAL noted that SpiceJet has been facing ongoing operational issues affecting services both domestically and internationally, leaving affected passengers in deep distress. While the airport management is actively assisting stranded passengers, CIAL has strongly advised all SpiceJet travelers to reconfirm their flight status directly with the airline before heading to the airport.
